We have Baptized Dr. Kwame Kyei, the new CEO of Kumasi Asante Kotoko – Ogbame

Accra Hearts of Oak Western Regional Chapters PRO, Ogbame Little Tetteh says they (Hearts of Oak) have baptised Kotoko new CEO, Dr. Kwame Kyei in the classico defeat. “This is how we welcome him so he should learn from it and device strategies on how he will enter into such games the next time”. 

Kumasi Asante Kotoko yesterday lost 6-5 on penalties to Accra Hearts of Oak in an ongoing GHALCA G6 tournament second semifinal at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The game ended 1-1 during the regulation time after Kotoko’s captain Amos Frempong getting an equaliser to Vincent Atinga’s early penalty goal.

Speaking on Takoradi based Aseda FM, Mr. Ogbame said Kotoko had a better squad than Hearts but they were able to psyche their players and that resulted in their win.             

He again added that the win is their way of baptising Dr.Kwame Kyie, the new CEO of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.    ” We have baptized Dr. Kwame Kyei and we are advising him to device a new strategy when going in to such encounter with Hearts of Oak and I can assure him that if the players listen to advice just as they did, Dr. Kwame Kyei will not win any much with Kotoko over Hearts in his reign”.

Hearts of Oak are to play in the finals against Aduana stars on Sunday, 4th December, 2016 at Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium
