African women’s championship continues today
Confederation of African Football, women’s cup of nation continues today with the group A matches as the host, Cameroun takes on their counterpart South Africa at 16:00 at Omnisports Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium-Yaoundé.
Cameroun started their campaign last Saturday as they beat Egypt 2:0. They are currently on the top of group A with 3 points followed by South Africa and Zimbabwe with 1 point appease with Egypt lying at the bottom of the table without a point.
The other group A match will be between Zimbabwe vs Egypt at 19:00.
Zimbabwe were able to hold South Africa to a goalless draw in their first league.
Meanwhile, the Ghana’s representative, Black Queens will face their closest rival, Nigeria in group B, tomorrow at Stated Limbe-Limbe at exactly 15:00.
The other group B match will also be between the two bottom clubs, Kenya and Mali at 19:00
Ghana were able to squash Kenya 3:1 while Nigeria were also able to beat Mali 6:0 in their first league matches.
Currently, Nigeria is sitting on the top of group B with 3 points followed by Ghana with 3 while Kenya and Mali are without any point.
