Chelsea must learn to kill-Conte

Following the clubs gameday yesterday in the League Cup second round against Bristol Rovers which saw the club sailing through with a 3-2 win, manager Antonio Conte felt they made life unnecessarily tough.

With goals coming from Michy Batshuayi who scored two goals either side of a Victor Moses strike at Stamford Bridge but they were given a tough fright when the visitors twice halved a two-goal deficit from a free kick and a penalty.

The Chelsea manager says his side must learn to kill of matches quicker following their 3-2 League Cup win over Bristol Rovers. Therefore he wants his players to become more ruthless in their approach in order to prevent similarly nervy encounters in the near future.

He made a statement with BBC Radio London Sport that,“ These games are very tough, when you dominate the game, you must kill the game and not keep it open”.
