The player joined Arsenal earlier this month from the Nigerian outfit Diamond Football Academy for a reported fee in the region of £3m
Nwakali is currently unable to play for the Gunners as he has not been granted a UK work permit yet .
Reports in Nigeria claim Arsenal are in talks with Viking about securing a loan deal before next Wednesday’s transfer deadline.
When they confirmed the signing of Nwakali, 18, Arsenal stated that they planned to loan him out in the near future to gain first-team experience.
