Some have been able to rise to the top(very few) and some also did not leave up to expectation due certain reasons such as injuries, overhyping and among others. The Telegraph had claimed the 18-year-old has wanted by Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham, with England’s big six teams having enquired about the £15million-rated England Under-19 wonderkid last summer.

HEIGHT: 1.67m
Born in Kingston-upon-Thames, Roberts joined Fulham from Wimbledon aged 13 before making his way up the club’s ranks and eventually being handed his first-team debut against Manchester City four years later.
He joined Manchester City in July 2015 for a reported fee of £11m (via Thegardian), with £5m upfront and a further £6m add-ons. He was the fourth player to join the Cityzens after the arrival of Raheem Sterling, Fabian Delph and young Turkish Enes Unal from Bursaspor.
On 15 March 2014, Fulham manager Felix Magath described his as “an extraordinary talent” after he was name in Fulham’s substitutes against Newcastle in a Premier League game.
Roberts played a huge role in Fulham’s U-18 side reaching their first-ever FA Youth Cup Final in the 2013/14 season – which they lost
The 18-year-old has enjoyed a productive time in England’s U-19 side with five goals in twelve appearances to his name.
The 18-year-old also won the European U-17 Championship with the Three Lions last year – a competition in which hee created the highest number of goals (four) and ended as joint top scorer with his three strikes in Malta.

Patrick Roberts has featured 3 times for the Cityzen in competitive games coming in as a substitute in all.
Roberts made his debut coming on as a substitute for Jesus Navas against Real Madrid in the pre-season 2015 International Champions Cup . On 22 September 2015, Roberts made his First Team debut for Manchester City when he came on as a substitute during a 4-1 win against Sunderland in the League Cup. He made his league debut for Manchester City in the 4-1 loss against
Tottenham Hotspur, coming on as a substitute for Sergio Aguero. Patrick also came on from the bench in City’s League Cup 5-1 triumph over Crystal Palace to replace Kevin De Bruyne on 28 October 2015.
He featured 22 times for Fulham without scoring a goal. He is yet to score at Manchester City also.
National Team
Patrick has enjoyed a good form at the national team level being played at the U16, U17, U18 and U19 level but he is yet to get a senior team call up. The stats for his national team appearances is as follows;

STYLE OF PLAY
Roberts normally plays on the right wing, but is known to drift in behind the striker and work his magic in the playmaker role.
The 18-year-old is a confident dribbler and can often be seen bamboozling opposition players with his quick feet.
He is also known to be a clinical finisher to add to his array of other impressive skills.
